Ingress and egress on one balance

Every byte that enters or leaves each site is on one balance: ingress equals egress plus retained data at every site, beside the live EDGE network trace.

  4. Check ingress equals egress plus retained at every site

Receiving side: Jude's balance invariant stays green. Failure path: Erling floods a site's ingress → the flood is dropped at the edge with a receipt; the balance still reconciles.
